Special Submission Call

We are hard at work on the first issue, and hope to have it out next week! So for this submission call, we’re thinking of something a little different. Recently, Kameron published a blog with a little table to create some mistranslations of “Deer Park” by Wang Wei. Check out that table and send us YOUR mistranslation! We plan to do a special mini-issue of these. Just put WANG WEI in the subject line. You can stick to what’s on the table or do your own version of “Deer Park”. This is a unique opportunity, because we want to include as many of your submissions as possible. So please, send us your version of “Deer Park”!

Broad Ripple Review is another lit mag that’s just getting started and hopes to launch around the same time we do. They’re currently open to submissions, AND they’re looking for folks to be on their staff. Working on a literary magazine is really rewarding, so if you’ve ever thought about it, consider sending an application to BRR!
